Meet the Candidate

1

Early Life and Education
I was born in Haiti and came to Fargo, ND, at age one. I grew up in the Golden Ridge neighborhood, where I attended Madison Elementary, Ben Franklin Middle School, Fargo North High School, and Concordia College-Moorhead. I graduated with a degree in psychology and also wrestled for Concordia.

2

Entrepreneurship and Community Involvement
I am an entrepreneur and own a couple of barbershops (Xperience Barbers and Salon) and a barber school (Dakota Barber Academy) in the region. In addition, I am an assistant wrestling coach at Concordia. Lastly, I serve as the Board President for Legacy Children's Foundation. Serving my community in any capacity has always been a driving motivator for me to keep growing!

Why Vote for Me
Why should you vote for me? I've had quite a unique career path to get to where I am today. I've been in several industries, including law enforcement, corrections, inside sales, retail sales, non-profit, coaching, and barbering. Another thing you should know about me is that I am never scared to embrace new challenges because discomfort is where we grow. If elected, I will focus on how to keep our middle class from diminishing and alleviate financial burdens. Remember, tomorrow starts today!
Policy Platform
Workforce Development
Keeping our graduate students within the city through paid internships. We need to focus more on the middle class not only the low income. Work with local programs such as the EDC and Chamber of Commerce. Lastly, working with local colleges and using labor market data to give our graduated students a chance within the workforce.
Lower Taxes
  • We need more control over giving incentives to bigger corporations. Focus more on small businesses and lower-income neighborhoods.
Public Safety
Work with local partners to address the mental health crisis and provide them with the help they need. I also support our law enforcement by giving them the resources they need to keep Fargo safe.
Accessibility (Childcare & Transportation)
We should give individuals wrap-around services and, most importantly, resources to help them integrate within our workforce. New Americans commonly face these barriers when they find employment but find difficulty with childcare or transportation.
